The islands of Swedish Lapland’s archipelago are your ultimate destination in this 4-day archipelago escape. Here in the solitude of Jopikgården your boutique 4 room hotel, you will be spoilt by the personal and tailored service, savor the fine food and enjoy unique activities in the remoteness and solitude of your wilderness. Jopikgården, a converted traditional Swedish country manor, will be your home away from home as you enjoy activities such as kayaking, hiking, geocaching, enjoying the midnight sun or enjoying traditional local food. Each activity has meals included, your personal experienced guide and a maximum group size of 8, but every experience is modified to make sure your experience is unique and truly your own.
All transfers and meals are provided to ensure maximum safety, enjoyment and comfort at all times.
Day one
You will be met at the airport by your guide for the transfer out across the sea by boat to Jopikgården, your farmhouse on the island. After arrival and check in we´ll serve you lunch or a snack depending on when you´ll get here.
In the afternoon you will meet up with your guide where you will get fitted for all safety equipment for on the water, and start the “kayak school” where you will be taught all you need to know for safety on the water. If you arrive late in the evening, we´ll do the fitting and kayak school next morning.
Dinner will be served in the restaurant.
Day two
After breakfast you´ll start the first guided tour where you and your guide will paddle around the island to practice your skills and explore the glory of the islands of the archipelago firsthand. We will stop for lunch during our tour.
The afternoon is open to expore the island or just relaxing. Or you can book a yoga class if you want to strech your muscles after the paddling,
The dinner is served in the restaurant.
Day thee
With a great breakfast behind you, you are ready for your penultimate adventure, a full day of sea kayaking. You and your guide will head off toward the outermost islands in the archipelago where you will explore the beauty of the archipelago and, enjoy an outdoor meal before paddling back to Jopikgården.
Our final dinner will be our ‘departure banquet’ where we eat fine food, tell tall stories, relive our adventures and spend our final night together before departing in the morning. After dinner we will retire to the lounge where the bar will be available throughout the evening.
